Use of special tools in youth training in ice hockey
Sýkora, Adam ; Vojta, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Šťastný, Petr (referee)
VYUŽITÍ SPECIÁLNÍCH POMŮCEK V TRÉNINKU HOKEJOVÉ MLÁDEŽE V PŘÍPRAVNÉM OBDOBÍ Objectives: A usage of special equipment in practice in ice-hockey during off-ice practice and its further analysis and evaluation. Methods: To get the aim of comparing a common practice and a special practice I will use special exercises for a speed of learning of new skills. The new methods will be used in a modern practice. I will observe reactions of children about the other kind of practice and effectiveness of modern practice as well. Results: Results of modern practice show that children like learning new activities and methods. More various practices were better for their motivation and interest. A practice was much more intensive when I used suitable game-like methods. Effectiveness of learning raised when I used modern practice. Keywords: Balance exercises, bosu training, carts, stick handling, wooden or golf balls, stickhandling board, power skating, core.
The comparation of solid and unstable surface exercice on 13years old ice-hockey players by Myotest
Sýkora, Adam ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Arnošt, Pavel (referee)
THE COMPARATION OF SOLID AND UNSTABLE SURFACE EXERCICE ON 13YEARS OLD ICE-HOCKEY PLAYERS BY MYOTEST Objectives: Compare the effect of the course and exercises by using unstable surfaces with and without field accelerometer (Myotest). Methods: The exercise of a similar movement pattern was performed qualitative and quantitative comparison of the stress field parameters using the accelerometer. Quantitative stress parameters were evaluated for individual movements as mean values from a larger number of repetitions for intra- individual assessments. For comparison exercises were probands adapted from ongoing training process. Results: The results obtained during by testing shows that the measured power and performance weren't always exactly according to the hypotheses. The hypotheses were in some cases completely confirmed (eg VR lunge at the knees in the value of the force on the mat 994.4 N and Bosu 1154 N. The difference is 159,6 N, which is about 16%), in others completely rejected (eg KŠ kneeled in lunge was power value on the mat 730 W and on the Bosu 1172 W. Difference is 442 W, which is about 60%). Occasionally a situation where it was not possible hypothesis neither confirm nor reject (eg H2: the squat were measured performance values on the mat for the three probands negative (JP -70 W, VR...
An effect of generalized joint hypermobility to the frequency of ankle joint injuries at girls' basketball players of the age category U11-U17
Veseláková, Andrea ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: An effect of generalized joint hypermobility to the frequency of ankle joint injuries at girls basketball players of the age category U11-U17 Objective: The main objective of this thesis is to assess the frequency of generalized joint hypermobility and its relation to the frequency of injury of the ankle at girls' basketball players of the age from 7 to 16 years. The secondary goal of this work is to evaluate effectiveness of the balance exercises integrated into the experimental group of girls' basketball players. Methods: The theoretical part is elaborated as a recherche of foreign literature in particular. In the practical part, the injury frequency of the ankle is analyzed by the quantitative methods using a survey and the frequency of the generalized joint hypermobility assessed by clinical tests of motion by Carter and Wilkinson, Beighton and Bulbena. Furthermore, a controlled experiment is included in which practice balance exercises had been included to the training of the experimental group of girls' basketball players BK Brandys nad Labem and its effect to the dependent variable, the frequency of the ankle injury, was monitored and compared with the control groups BK Prosek and SK Aritma. Results: In this study the link between the frequency of the ankle injury and the presence of...
The effect of kinesthetic sensation on the postural control and balance abilities of individuals with visaul impairments
Richterová, Markéta ; Strnad, Pavel (advisor) ; Malá, Lucia (referee)
Thesis title: The effect of kinesthetic sensation on the postural control and balance abilities of individuals with visual impairments Objectives: Compose through the literature study appropriete balance programe for the individuals with visual impairments and measure its effect on their postural control and balance abilities. Methods: Ten visually impaired subjects, one subject with visual and vestibular impairment and one healthy subject took part in this study. Movement intervention was held once a week for eleven weeks, consisting of balance and coordination training, exercises for decreasing muscle imbalances and increasing body awareness and relaxation ability. The Footscan system was used for measuring the effect of movement intervention on the on the postural control and balance abilities of individuals with visual impairments. The testing was done before the beginning and after the finishing of all classes of movement intervention and the results of the pretest and posttest were compared with each other. Results: The movement intervention led to the improvement of postural control and balance abilities at five subjects from the total of nine subjects, who underwent pre and post testing. From the total of forty-eight carried out tests, the subjects noted improvement in twenty-two tests,...
Balance training using biofeedback in people with multiple sclerosis
Sasínová, Jana ; Novotná, Klára (advisor) ; Kövári, Martina (referee)
The present thesis deals with the issue of balance disorders in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and the effect of individual balance training using biofeedback. It presents an overview of the current knowledge about MS - epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnostics, types, symptoms and treatment methods. The thesis also describes principles of balance control of the human body, balance deficits in patients with MS and physiotherapeutic treatment. The aim of the experimental part was to evaluate the effect of the Homebalance® system on balance in MS patients and its comparison with conventionally used sensorimotor training. A total of 18 people took part in the research, 9 in the experimental group and 9 in the control group. Standardized tests and functional scales supplemented by standardized questionnaires on balance and gait were used to objectively assess balance. Measurements were performed before and after a series of therapies. After treatment, a significant improvement (p 0,05) was found in some tests and functional scales, but in none of subjective patient reported outcomes. Exercise using the Homebalance® system may be a suitable alternative to classical rehabilitation methods used for balance training in people with MS. Keywords Multiple sclerosis, balance impairment, Homebalance®,...
Effect of excercise on postural stability parameters in senior's age
Kratochvílová, Hana ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: Effect of excercise on postural stability parameters in senior's age Objectives: The aim of this study is to assess the effects of a regular group exercise on specific parameters of postural control in seniors. The intervention was composed based on a literary review and consisted of strength, flexibility and balance exercises. Methods: The sample consisted of nine women older than 65 years. To evaluate the differences in selected parameters of static postural control before and after intervention the pressure plates RS Footscan® Balance 7.6 second generation (RSscan International, Belgium) were used. Results: All og the measured parameters of static postural control improved, particularly when standing without visual control. The results can be helpful in planning of preventive exercise programs for seniors. Key words: Postural control, seniors, group exercise, balance exercise
